Fusion People are actively recruiting for an Emergency Accommodation Team leaderto work on behalf of our Bristol based client who are tasked with overseeing a large EA property portfolio.

Purpose of vacancy:

  • The key purpose of this role is to provide hands on field based support and direction to the emergency accommodation officers, cleaners and the night supervisors within the business.
  • The key objective is to provide direct, strong and consistent reports with line management in order to improve inefficiencies and results within the business.

Main Duty's and Responsibilities:

  • Promote continuous improvements across the company portfolio by regularly auditing properties (e.g by consistently presenting ideas leading to improving property conditions and cleanliness)
  • Be the direct line manager for the emergency accommodation officers, cleaners and night supervisors
  • Vehicle inspections
  • Incident/accident reporting
  • Lead safeguarding officer
  • Embed company policies and procedures, support the annual review
  • Promote a positive reputation to internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintain at least 98% occupancy across the portfolio
  • Work closely with maintenance to deliver key objectives
  • Ensure meter readings are submitted on-time
  • Cover for direct reports when necessary
  • Sign off incident reports
  • Support the key management system
  • Address non-compliances with company procedure with your reports
  • Train Emergency accommodation officers and cleaners
  • Daily call with direct reports to ensure everyone is where they need to be, work closely with bookings to support this
  • Final sign off void properties before they become reoccupied meeting tight deadlines
  • ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and standards that apply to the company (training, certification etc.)
  • Deliver training
  • I.T support (CCTV, password resets, overreach system)
  • Ensure reports regarding compliance are actioned (LOLER, FRA, Gas, EICR etc.)
  • Promote cohesion and information sharing through hands on support and fantastic communication · support new projects/business initiatives
  • Participate in On call rota for duty manager cover
  • Improve efficiencies and performance
  • Maintain a minimum of 98% occupancy
  • Embed the policies in the Employee and Health and safety handbooks and embed any required changes across the business
  • Report any issues seen in the property and escalate as appropriate
  • To carry out any other duties as reasonably requested

Qualification/Experience:

  • Previous experience working within the social housing industry (Preferred)
  • IOSH/Nebosh (Preferred)
  • Housing background - Essential
  • Property management- (Preferred)

Salary:

  • Salary expectations of £32,500 -£38,500 Per Annum depending on experience.
