Embroidery Operative

Our client based in Hitchin, are recruiting for a Embroidery Operative.

The role is a permanent position.

Salary is depending on experience.

Hours 40 hrs week , 8am to 4.45 Mon to Thurs, 8 to 3.30 Fri

My client based in Hitchin are recruiting a Embroidery Operative to work in a Factory environment applying embroideries and labelling requirements for the manufacturing of Personal Protection clothing for the medical industry to ISO regulations

Embroidery Operative Responsibilities

· To prepare fabric panels for embroidery

· Order new logos files and complete sample approval process

· Check job sheets for languages, thread colour, punctuation etc.

· Ensure all embroideries are correctly positioned and in the correct font for individual customers.

· Maintaining a library of all Hospital logos and specific requirements

· Printing of all satin product labels to IOS 9001 regulations, ensuring no information is excluded.

· Maintain a virtual history of style details and information requirements on labels.

· Examine job sheets to verify conformance to specifications.

· Priortise workload based on Production Schedule daily.

· Stock takes materials relevant to labels and Embroidery operations.

Skills

· Strong Computer skills to locate, file and maintain embroidery and labelling data bases.

· Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

· Strong communication skills and attention to detail

· Highly organised

· Ability to follow written instructions.

Experience

· No experience required; full training given.
