Embedded Software Engineer - £45k - Southampton - semi remote

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a pioneering electronics manufacturer who are now seeking am Embedded Software Engineer with solid experience using the simulation languages for algorithm design.

The company are established globally, operating in a lucrative industry that they have cornered. They are now seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with an aptitude for algorithm design for DSP’s, simulation software or similar applications for a new range of products.

The engineering team is well established, you will get the chance to work with some of the best engineers in the industry. You will be working as part of a dedicated team of Embedded Software and Electronics Engineers. As the company is constantly developing new products, you will get the chance to see products from design to manufacture.

Key Skills:

· Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Electronics, Control systems or similar

· 3+ years commercial Embedded C experience

· Hands on algorithm design experience using Matlab, Simulink, C++ or similar (no industry preference)

· An interest in AI or AI edge devices is highly desirably but not essential.
