An established Technology company seeks a degree qualified Embedded Software Engineer to work on a range of sensors, servo controllers, industrial communication and control products. Great opportunity for a keen problem solver who takes pride in good modular code design and has a test driven mindset.

Essential requirements for the Embedded Software Engineer include:

  • A minimum of a 2.1 Bachelors Degree in Electronics or similar.
  • 3+ years commercial software development experience.
  • Proven Embedded C/C++ development skills.
  • Experience with STM32 microcontrollers.
  • Experience with Eclipse based IDEs.
  • Knowledge of Communication Protocols such as SPI, 12C.
  • Industrial Communication protocols such as ProfiNET, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP.

The successful Embedded Software Engineer will be part of a team steering continuous integration systems as the company continues to modernize their development tools. You will work independently at times as well as in a team - from initial specification, all the way through to the final testing and documentation.

This Embedded Software Engineer role is open to applications from individuals who are currently based in the UK, who have full eligibility to work in the UK and who possess excellent spoken and written English skills.
