Embedded Software Engineer

Our client is now seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their growing team as they work towards the development of their next generation of products. The solutions you will be working on are real life devices that are helping the UK and European customers meet sustainability targets. Their office is based in the Chester area and they offer flexible hybrid working, you can expect to work from home up to 50% of the time.

You will be joining a small to medium sized team and have the chance to contribute throughout the full design life cycle on their range of next generation products. You can expect to be involved in all aspects related to software development and should expect to use the following skills on a daily basis:

  • Embedded C/C++ programming
  • RTOS platforms - including FreeRTOS
  • SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485 protocols
  • Git and SVN

This role will best suit an Embedded Software Engineer with strong industry experience in a similar, hands-on development role who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is keen to make a real impact in the design of a range of industry leading products.
