Role: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Remote (some visits to the site)
Duration: 6 months
Start Date: ASAP
A client based in Germany is looking for several Embedded Software Engineers. This role is remote with some visits onsite in Germany.
The client designs unique automotive audio products for their customers across the globe.
The Embedded Software Engineers will build the platform for the next generation of high-end automotive amplifiers. You will have the chance to contribute to the roadmap and the shape and performance of a family of devices and algorithms.
Setup and development of embedded automotive platforms
Conceptualize modular & reusable software modules.
Interface with hardware developers on DfM, DfT, DfQ
Devise and provide HALs/APIs for DSP algorithm and acoustic engineers.
Translate customer requirements into testable code.
Interface with overseas colleagues on roadmap, support, and re-use of common components
Participate in demonstrator development and customer presentation as well as test drives.
In depth knowledge of ARM, SHARC processor architectures
Proven track record of software development in C/C++
Knowledge of RTOSes & embedded Linux
Knowledge of distributed version control and code collaboration
Knowledge of CI & test automation
