An experienced Electronics Lab Technician is required to work for a very successful local business in a close-knit team. Renowned for the supply of electronic safety devices, senses and custom-built systems. You will be working closely with the Technical team.

The hours of work for this position are 09:00am-17:30pm, Monday to Friday. Flexible hours may be available for the right candidate. Offering a salary of £28,000 -£32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Duties will include:

  • Work on the production line.
  • Drill holes and cut out shapes on metal sheeting.
  • Assemble connectors with crimping pins or soldering.
  • Wiring devices, follow writing diagrams and demonstration.
  • Use a heat gun.
  • Maintain lab equipment and order consumables.
  • Test final products.
  • Stock control.
  • Dispatching products.
  • Adhere to, up hold and implement all health and safety procedures

The successful candidate will have experience in electrical assembly, specifically soldering, wiring and crimping, have strong attention to detail and be able to use Microsoft Packages.

Communication, organisation and dexterity are essential skills for this role, applicants must have proven experience in these areas.

Full training will be provided however, you will need to hit the ground running and prove your skill set.
