JOB TITLE: Electronic Test Technician
LOCATION: Swindon, Wiltshire
SALARY: £160 Per day, 3-6 months

WAY OF WORKING: Full Time in Office, Monday- Friday

THE BUSINESS:
C4S are excited to be working alongside a rapidly growing Electronics manufacturing business who have a large presence in the defence sector. They offer a large number of services such as: communications, power electronics and RF systems just to name a few.
THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR OPPORTUNITY:

  • Test of electronic systems, RF, power supplies and racks
  • RF test on variety of products
  • Component level fault finding
  • Customer Equipment repair
  • Portable Appliance Testing

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

  • RF test experience e.g. Network/Spectrum Analyser and Noise Figure measurements
  • Understanding of RF principles would be an advantage but not essential
  • Analytical skills
  • Component level fault finding
  • Manual soldering skills to a very high standard (surface mount and leaded)
  • Ability to follow written procedure
  • Fibre Optics Knowledge
  • Basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality practices
  • ONC/HNC in electronics engineering or equivalent
