Electrician

Role Purpose

• Toensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard.

The role holder will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, inspections, minor and major works efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.

A post holder will form part of the electrical team undertaking a variety of electrical works and inspections and report to the operations Supervisor.

Key Accountabilities

• Undertaking a range of planned, void or maintenance works, repairing or replacing items to maintain properties to a high standard, in line with the role skills framework.
• Retrofit LD1 - LD2 - LD3 alarm smoke/CO/heat systems in domestic properties
• Complete EICR’s inspections and record the information on the required documentation.
• To complete works in conjunction with all health and safety procedures, policies and legislation.
• To work efficiently and deliver high standards of quality.
• Working unsupervised and in occupied or unoccupied (void) properties and complying with the Code of Conduct.
• To be competent in the completion of reports, ordering and maintaining sufficient materials and completing orders.
• To work in a professional and courteous manner.

To participate in an out of hours emergency rota and attend call-outs as required.
