This company is a leading specialist in the manufacture and delivery of engine cooling pumps and hydroelectric turbines around the world. In this role you will be undertaking practical training to become a specialist electrical maintenance technician for industrial-scale rotating equipment, with a big focus being on pumps and turbines. You will then be responsible for inspecting and testing equipment, planned preventative maintenance and fault finding on electrical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant Electrical qualification - preferably an Electrical Engineering qualification at the HNC level at least - and will have some previous practical experience working with electrics.

The role:
* Training and then carrying out electrical fault finding, planned maintenance and testing
* Responding to breakdowns and issues where necessary
* Inputting into Root Cause Analysis activities
* Following H&S protocols and completing documentation for works undertaken

The person:
* Relevant Electrical qualification, preferably to HNC level at a minimum
* Previous practical experience with electrics e.g electrical maintenance, wiring, testing or similar
* Highly-motivated and capable of learning new information quickly
