Our client is looking to add an Electrical Shift Leader to their team on their commercial site near Liverpool street station. Please note, you must have experience of working as an Electrical Shift Leader to be considered.

Duties:

  • Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks, and update the system accordingly.

  • Ensure daily checks are conducted, and promptly repair or report any defects via the Landlord helpdesk.

  • Identify materials needed and promptly complete internal Materials Request Forms.

  • Maintain and supervise effective shift handovers to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Adhere to statutory and company health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.

  • Timely conduct and record statutory inspections, including fire, access equipment, and water hygiene records. Conduct regular audits on folder management.

  • Manage third-party contractors, monitoring their performance and standards. Conduct internal audits as necessary, in collaboration with the Technical Manager.

  • Ensure Specialist Service Provider worksheets are completed, inspect the quality of work, and escalate recommendations to the Technical Manager.

  • Take responsibility for escalating critical incidents and submit incident reports within prescribed timescales, in coordination with Technical/Account Managers.

  • Support other teams on-site to maintain building operations and encourage cross-training to uphold the 100% uptime criteria.

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping in plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas, etc.

Requirements:

  • Fully Electrically qualified

  • Experience as an end user of a Building Management Systems

  • Demonstrable experience of managing contractors and supervising staff

  • 18th Edition IEE: Wiring & Installation

  • Previously LV/HV Authorised Person (Desirable)

  • C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2 or mechanical equivalent

  • C&G 2391 - Desirable

  • Be conversant with current Health and Safety legislation with relevance to safe working practices. Sound level of administration/organizational skills
