• Permanent position - Immediate start available
• Salary to £32,448 pa (£16.00 p/hr), & Overtime at £24.00 p/hr - time & a half.
• Good hours available - Mid-day finish on a Friday.
• Location in the Cambourne - St. Neots area.
• Free on-sit car parking.
• Own transport required due to location.

We are seeking a proactive Electrical Panel Wire Person / Electrical Engineer to join this thriving, established manufacturer of special purpose machinery; located in the Cambourne area on the border of Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.

This is a factory-based role but may require occasional travel to remote manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities:

• Construction of control panels based on technical drawings, involving the cutting and fitting of wire ducting and DIN rail.
• Wiring of control panels according to electrical schematic drawings.
• Testing of control panels in accordance with relevant documentation.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with control panels.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• Practical electrical wiring experience in an industrial setting, with mechanical aptitude being advantageous.
• Ability to effectively manage a varied workload and demonstrate flexibility while maintaining strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and analysing data related to electrical systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Salary:

• To £32,448 pa (£16.00p/hr), & Overtime at £24.00 p/hr - time & a half.

Hours:

• 39 per week, Mid-day finish on a Friday. Good hours available.
