Electrical Maintenance Engineer
City of London - Monday - Friday 8am -5pm 
£22 Per Hour - 3 Month Contract 
 
We are currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team responsible for maintaining and servicing plant found within a prestigious commercial building in the City of London. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the building.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks on various plant equipment, including but not limited to:
    • PPMs & Reactive maintenance
    • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS,, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
    • Organising subcontractors
    • Quotations 
    • Health & Safety
    • Logbooks
    • Risk assessments
    • Permits to work
  • Responding promptly to reactive maintenance requests and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Performing checks and inspections on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Identifying and reporting any faults or defects to the engineering team.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 18th Edition 
  • Prior Building Service Maintenance experience (3 years minimum)
  • Polite and personable
  • Client facing 
Benefits:
  • Hourly rate of between £22 per hour
