The Opportunity
Hands-on Electrical Technician required in the midlands, carrying out electrical assembly and installation for a market leader in the design, assembly, and installation of specialist rail improvement modifications on a Monday to Friday, day shift basis.

Location:
Chesterfield

Role and Responsibilities

  • Electrical wiring and assembly of components for rolling stock vehicles
  • Fitting of electrical components to large systems and vehicles
  • Manufacturing of electrical systems in an engineering environment
  • Following electrical diagrams to complete installation and fitting activities

The Candidate

  • You will be a great team worker
  • You will be able to operate a variety of engineering-specific tooling

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical discipline
  • Experience working in an electrically biased position in an engineering environment
  • Previous experience of TE connectors, DT (Deutsch) connectors, Mil spec.

Desirable

  • Electrical maintenance experience
  • Vast experience with electrical testing and fault finding procedures
  • Full UK Drivers License
