Join one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-tech scientific components as an Electrical Engineer. 

The role is site-based in Rugby, where all work is completed in-house rather than through third parties. 

THE ROLE:
The company is looking to recruit an experienced, industry-based Electrical Engineer to support R&D and manufacturing departments. Reporting to the managing director, this job involves:
  • Working with manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain teams to understand current issues and find solutions
  • Design new electrical items
  • Review, update, or redesign current electrical items
  • Testing and development to support quality control, conformance and compatibility
  • Create documentation, including wiring diagrams and build instructions.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • The role requires a broad range of knowledge in electrical and electronic component assemblies, including high-power and high-voltage switched-mode power suppliers and control electronics.
  • Extensive electronic engineering experience.
  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineer.
  • Use ECAD software for schematic capture, PCV layout, and wiring diagram generation.
SALARY & BENEFITS YOU’LL RECEIVE AS ELECTRICAL ENGINEER:
  • £45,000 - £55,000, dependent on experience
  • Discretionary annual bonus
