Electrical Engineer
Maintenance Electrician - Sheffield £40,000 - £45,000
We are delighted to be recruiting on the behalf of a prestigious client based in the heart of Sheffield who are going through a period of strong investment with up to £1 billion being directed into the site. With this investment they are now looking to recruit 3 maintenance electricians to their team which could potentially be you.
The duties include the maintenance of all plant equipment including:
- DC & AC Cranes
- Hydraulic presses and equipment
- Open die forge presses with manipulators
- Radial forgings machines
- Experience of working on DC controls
- Must have good knowledge of electrical installations
- Working to PPM systems
- New installations
- Working at heights
Must be apprentice trained with a minimum of 17th edition as the sector is highly regulated. Previous experience of working with cranes is very desirable
There are 3 roles with different shift patterns which are the following:
- Average of 37 hours per week, Mornings - Monday to Friday 6am to 1pm, Afternoons - Monday to Friday 1pm to 8pm, Nights - Monday to Thursday 7.45pm to 6am
- Mornings: 6:00am - 2:30pm Mon - Thu, Friday 6:00-12:00; Nights: 8.00pm - 6:00am Mon - Thu
- Average of 40 hours per week, continental shift pattern
