This team-oriented position will see you joining our Water Supply Team, ensuring that the Water Supply process delivers treated water by carrying out vital routine operations

You'll be responsible for the upkeep of all types of plant and equipment at our Water Treatment Works to ensure it is operating effectively and efficiently, and be enthusiastic about carrying out planned maintenance and responding promptly to any issues or incidents.

Your electrical knowledge will enable you to be responsible for the day-to-day operation of water supply assets - including water treatment works, reservoirs, towers and pumping stations.

What does it take to be an Electrical Asset Technician?

You will have completed an apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 and have a relevant electrical qualification.

Your ability to learn quickly and use your own initiative to solve problems is essential for this role and you will train alongside an experienced Technician to ensure you gain all the skills and knowledge required.

This role requires you to work a 37-hour week, however you will need a flexible approach to working hours as you'll be required to be on a standby rota and undertake overtime as and when required - you'll be paid extra for this!
