EHS Co-Ordinator

At Okarno, we are looking for a EHS Coordinator to join us and provide an outstanding EHS support service to our internal stakeholders.

You will be working with the management team to help maintain a safe, sustained and collaborative working environment in the operations department, while maintaining high EHS standards across all departments within Okarno.

We're looking for someone with a successful track record within EHS, as well as someone with formal qualifications in Occupational, Health and Safety.

The role is based full-time in our Ruddington office.

What we're looking for:

* Someone who is able to work closely with managers and staff to understand EHS needs
* Is an advocate for EHS and resources to secure the best EHS support for employees and contractors
* Consideration of new perspectives and fresh thinking to overcome difficulties
* Enjoys engaging with others, and building strong working relationships - as well as not being afraid to challenge

What you will be doing:

* Reviewing and improving our current EHS policies, ensuring policies and procedures are compliant wit the current UK regulations
* Supporting the implementation of EHS across Okarno, you will be supporting and coordinating EHS custodians on site as well as providing advice and support to teams
* Providing administration support related to EHS to a high and accurate standard in a timely and efficient manner
* Monitoring our EHS compliance, staying updated on changes and regulations adjusting procedures and risk assessments accordingly
