Educational Psychologist Consultant

Chatham, Kent

Hours - 2 days per week

Salary £450 per day

Are you an Educational Psychologist registered with the HCPC?

Are you available for a contract position working 2 days per week?

My client a local council is looking to recruit an Educational Psychologist Consultant to work for them on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychological advice as part of the EHCNA process on a case-by-case basis
  • Provide written reports to vested stakeholders and team members
  • Follow all current legal and regulatory requirements in the execution of the role
  • Adhere to all current GDPR and DPA regulations

Person specifications:

  • Must be a qualified and experienced Educational Psychologists
  • Candidate must be registered as a practitioner psychologist with the HCPC
  • Ideally has experience in working with a local authority in this role
  • The candidate will need to be a clear and good communicator, both verbally and written
  • Must have an enhanced DBS for working with both adults & children
  • Experience in writing psychological advice for statutory assessment of Education, Care and Health needs is essential for this role
