Are you a Recruitment Consultant and currently feeling undervalued and overworked?

Our client is a market leading Education Recruitment business.

Are you fed up with KPI-bashing and want a more adult and trusting work culture?

You will take up the position of Recruitment Consultant/Senior Recruitment Consultant and be working alongside the branch manager who has already been working over the past years to ensure that London is a 'warm' area with a candidate flow and regular vacancies coming in.

There is genuinely excellent earning potential with the projected OTE in Year 1 being £45,000 and Year 2 being £50,000. The culture at this company is a very mature one, where common sense applies and loyalty, hard-work and commitment works both ways. You won't be under the microscope with constant KPI's, but team-work and open communication will be essential to be successful in this office.

The Role Will Include

  • Searching for and contacting suitable candidates from online job boards
  • Placing job advertisements
  • Face to face and phone interviews
  • Putting together candidate profiles, suitable for schools
  • Ensuring CV's are correct
  • Liaising with our central compliance team
  • Outbound and inbound calls
  • Canvassing for new business and servicing existing clients
  • Attending client meetings to solidify ongoing relationships
  • Support with training new consultants

Desirable qualities for this role

  • At least 1 year experience as a recruitment consultant
  • A proven track record of growth of your portfolio
  • Excellent phone manner and customer service skills
  • Fantastic work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to cope in a busy, pressured environment
  • A good team player with the ability to work on own initiative
