Home-based Dual Diagnosis Social Worker

A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Dual Diagnosis team which specifically works with Adults that are affected by Substance Misuse issues

Highlights:

• This is a predominantly Home-based role where you will only need to travel to the office twice a month for team meetings as well as face to face visits. Ultimately this setup will save time and money on travel and make the post more accessible for you if you are not based in the area.
• You will be joining a multi disciplinary team consisting of a health staff such as nurses, recovery workers, occupational therapist and psychologists.
• You will be working with a specific service user groups that have issues around substance misuse and possibly other factors such as Mental Health
• The Local Authority is very well resourced so you will have the support of other services and information readily available to make quick and effective decisions
• You will have the opportunity to specialise in this discipline of Social Work and will receive training that will contribute to your CPD expanding your employment prospects for the future.
• Pay rates are competitive

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a very specific service user group and take on a more specialist role. You will be joining a multi disciplinary service where information is shared effectively between discip[lines so that you are able to manage your cases efficiently and decisions can be made effectively. The post also offers a very flexible working patter as you will be able to work from home only having to go to the office a couple of times a month and completing visits face to face saving you time and money on travel.

To be considered for this post you should have experience within a similar team and or Mental Health experience.
