Staff for Education are proud to be working in partnership with a brilliant Secondary School in the Chesterfield area and we are currently recruiting for a dedicated DT Teacher to work at this school starting in September 2024. This is a full time, long term position that is likely to be until the end of the academic year.

This is a great opportunity to work in a Secondary School that has fantastic facilities and a strong and supportive team of staff. The school are looking for a dedicated teacher that can make a difference for their students and help them to reach their full potential.

Main responsibilities include:
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Managing student behaviour in line with the schools policies
• Creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
• Inspiring and motivating students to reach their full potential
• Regularly assessing and monitoring students’ progress and giving feedback

In order to be considered for the position, you must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. You must also hold a DBS Certificate on the Online Update Service or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS.
