The Role:

Starting after Easter, this is a full-time, long-term role for the remainder of the academic year. You will be Teaching KS3 and KS4, delivering the National Curriculum in timetabled lessons, as well as assisting students in their preparation for regular performances and extracurricular activities throughout the academic year. The focus is on developing students in a holistic approach, encouraging their creative development and critical analysis. This is a perfect opportunity for budding Drama Teachers to gain experience as well as experienced practitioners to hone in their skills and join an ’Outstanding’ school with excellent opportunities, facilities and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Participate in and contribute to staff meetings, school events, and ongoing Professional development.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status - not essential

  • Be able to plan engaging and effective lesson whilst delivering the National Curriculum
