An experienced Drainage Engineer with at least 2 years of experience is needed to join our team at Drain Doctor Oxford on a full-time basis. 

The candidates will need to reside in the Oxfordshire county area for the convenience of commute since we offer a 24/7 service and do not have set hours. 

This role offers excellent earning potential with an OTE of £40,000 - £55,000 and a company vehicle and uniform!

About the Role 

Work is based on a 5-day week and the nature of our business means start and finish times will vary from day to day. As soon as you understand our systems and procedures you will enrol in our call out Rota which is currently at one in five. There will also be plenty of other earning opportunities throughout the year to earn extra. We reward all employees for going above and beyond and run other bonus schemes throughout the year.

You will be supplied with a company vehicle, full company uniform, H&S kit bag and ongoing training throughout your employment. We like to think anyone who comes and joins our team is here for the long run. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work primarily on your own in a fully equipped van-pac carrying our reactive and planned drainage-related duties 
  • Work on domestic/commercial internal & external drainage systems using a variety of specialist equipment such as HP jetting machines, push rod CCTV cameras, EMC machines
  • Installing point-to-point structural patch repairs
  • UV LED pipe lining rigs
  • Small hand/machine excavation repair works 
  • You will be home-based, and work is passed through a cloud-based CRM system directly to an app on your phone

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of drainage experience working a van-pac
  • Experience with internal & external blockages (using HPWJ & EMC machines)
  • Full UK driving licence (no more than 6pts)
  • Understanding the use of a push rod CCTV camera unit

Desirable Experience: 

  • Patch/lining experience
  • Basic plumbing skills
  • Groundworks/excavating/light civils
