£29,000 - £32,000 package + Benefits

The role

The main aim of the role is to enhance their product range along with creating a better customer experience through enhancing core product information, creating product ranges, updating taxonomy and adding attributes. 

You will be responsible for enriching the current product range already present in the business, in line with their current Merchandising and Business Strategy. The Digital Merchandising Programme is driven by through a mix of automated solutions and merchandising knowledge, so you must be comfortable with understanding computer driven solutions and when these can or should be overridden to make a customer experience. 

Duties 

  • Be responsible for managing the process to group products together, ensuring that predictions are correct and support the customer journey
  • Ongoing review of product attributes to ensure that attributes are being assigned correctly
  • Manage ongoing categorisation projects ensuring that products are correctly categorised
  • Carry out competitive reviews as needed to identify content improvements
  • Work across a range of content improvement tasks as required, utilising merchandising and customer understanding to ensure that decisions are made that will support the customer search and browse journey
  • Prioritise changes, queries and requests based on commercial opportunities 
  • Navigate and understand content data studio reports to suggest opportunities 
  • Be comfortable with presenting within team meetings content updates 
  • Demonstrate accountability of end-to-end processes - ensuring that content quality guidelines are being met whilst also seeking to improve and input to the guidelines 
  • Work alongside the Merchandising Automation Team to ensure that feedback on automated tools is both captured and used to drive continuous improvements
  • Work alongside other teams to deliver 
  • content such as, but not limited to, visual attributes, videos and selector guides 
  • To always work to the company management system (ZIMS) requirements. 
  • Any other duties the company deem appropriate in the change of business circumstances

Experience

  • Google Sheets/ Excel skills for management of large data set
  • A proven track record in a fast paced environment with defined processes 
  • High attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently with pre-defined objectives
  • Strong cross-functional experience and ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic environment
  • SQL experience 
  • Informatic experience
  • Content enrichment experience
