Main Responsibilities of a DevOps and Cloud Engineer

• Quickly grasp and comprehend the existing hybrid setup to play a crucial part in devising the Azure Cloud migration strategy.
• Offer insights into cloud-native architecture and implementation choices.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to enhance and streamline our clients automation workflows.
• Embrace new projects by assisting in defining scope, designing, and documenting technically, while keeping key stakeholders informed on progress and ensuring timely project completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Identify opportunities for integrating new technologies into our clients automated workflows to enhance efficiency in their build and release cycles.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of our clients web infrastructure in Azure as part of their cloud migration, leveraging cloud-native solutions such as ingress.
• Develop Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and templates tailored for Azure PaaS containerised services.
• Collaborate with development teams, database administrators (DBAs), architects, and cloud partners to architect, plan, and construct infrastructure aligned with business needs.
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support migration to the cloud.
• Establish consistent and automated local environments, DevOps practices and tools like Docker and Azure DevOps.
• Partner with data scientists and machine learning (ML) engineers to deploy ML models on Azure.
