Job Title: Electrified Powertrain Development Engineer / EPD Engineer

Location: Coventry, United Kingdom

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000

About the Company: A research and development engineering business involved in the electric vehicle sector (powertrain) that supply to large companies and are major player in this emerging field.

Job Description: The prime purpose of the job is to executing test work primarily on developmental rigs, providing clear and concise data analysis and reporting/recommendations to customer teams (focused but not limited to EDU, Electric Motor, Power Electronics).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Ensure Rig and Unit Under Test fulfil requirement (BoM creation)
  • Support customers or other facilities to monitor good delivery of testing campaign
  • Technical direction to test facilities & other stakeholders
  • Ensure any issues have been formally logged on and assigned

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of powertrain development or testing
  • Electric Drive Unit and battery experience/knowledge
  • Aility to summarise and make clear technical recommendations across multifunctional disciplines with supporting data
  • Agile/Scrum process (advantageous)
