Development and Production Lead Engineer
Role profile:
Key responsibilities:
- Start the research program to develop Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) products for new applications for long term development of the business.
- Implement manufacturing processes to automate the manufacture and packaging of our current product range
- Ensure efficient stream of product purchases in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager
- Maintain and improve on our ISO, HAPAS, HACCP and Lloyds of London qualifications
- Ensure development is based on sustainable inputs with ecological awareness of waste materials
- Prepare scaled up operational setup for delivery of new products to market
- Reporting of R & D progress to board level
Person profile:
- Laboratory and research experience producing MMA
- Experience of translating product manufacture from laboratory to industrial production
- Can manage time independently
- Team player and ability to lead
- Methodical with research and documentation
- Has contributed doctoral thesis or published research papers in reference to MMA and applications
Salary & Benefits:
- £65,000+
- Discretionary bonus of up to 10% of salary per annum
- 22 days holiday
