Base3 Solutions provide Managed IT Services, Cyber Security and Data Analytics services throughout the three counties. 
Provide bespoke IT support services that help businesses succeed. From technology consulting, cybersecurity, cloud services to IT support. 

Overview:
We are seeking an apprentice to join our team to work alongside our front-end developer.
The successful candidate will work independently on projects within the defence space but also on products outside of it!

Location: 
Gloucestershire (remote based working with quarterly team meetings)

Salary:
£17,000 per annum.

The role: [your responsibilities will include:] 

  • Ensuring best practice is followed
  • Working alongside product stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements for ongoing application development
  • Continuing to reduce technical debt
  • Meeting any security requirements from the client

You will gain experience in:

  • Secure development in React/Node.js
  • Working in government or public sector
  • Public cloud technologies
  • Working in an Agile manner

What we are looking for: 
Our ideal candidate will be: 

  • Able to demonstrate good communication skills 
  • Keen with a passion for web development and ongoing learning
  • Hardworking
  • Suitable for security clearance

Entry requirements:

7 GCSE's total: 

  • English GCSE grade D or above
  • Other 6 GCSE's, including Maths, to be C or above
  • You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
