In this technical role as Design Estimator you will responsible for interpreting customers' needs using bespoke company design software to provide accurate project specific solutions, whilst also providing technical guidance on product and systems queries.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure Project quotations and technical submissions are on time, specification accurate and commercially sound
  • Manage and process enquiries received into the Projects mail inbox, prioritising order related tasks.
  • Manage, update, and take ownership of project folders, ensuring project history and communications are captured.
  • Confidently discuss information of a technical nature with customers to ensure a comprehensive and suitable design is provided

Skills Required

  • Mechanical engineering / electrical / mathematical / science-based qualifications.
  • Experience of interpreting technical documentation, specifications and drawings.
  • Experience of estimating, product selection and/or AHU design software.
  • A strong technical or mechanical background
