Are you an experienced Design Engineer looking for a new challenge?

My client is currently seeking to expand their design team and is looking for a creative engineer who can demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Experience of designing complex electro-mechanical products
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working on NPD as well as improvements to existing product ranges
  • Project management from concept through to manufacture
  • Experienced with 3D CAD, DFM, FMEA, CE marking etc
  • Drawings, BOMs and technical documentation

With a creative approach to problem solving engineering challenges, you will have solid mechanical skills and have worked on innovative and interesting products, machinery or systems. Relevant engineering qualifications eg HNC, HND or degree in mechanical engineering or similar is a must together with some experience within a design or development role.

This role is easily commutable from Newmarket, Thetford, Haverhill, Bury St Edmunds, Diss, Stowmarket, Sudbury, Hadleigh, Ipswich, Colchester, Braintree, Halstead and many more places within Suffolk and Essex.
