We seek an experienced and dynamic Educational Psychologist ready for significant career progression with a commitment to join our client in Essex.

The Deputy Principal Educational Psychologist will lead and manage a talented team of Educational Psychologists to deliver outstanding services to schools, and local communities.

Leadership Impact: Drive innovation, and operational excellence, and contribute strategically to the development of our EPS.

Community Focus: Uphold a culture of 'Putting Our Residents First' by delivering high-quality, person-centred services that meet children's and young people's needs.

Service Improvement: implement continuous monitoring of team and individual performance. Drive improvement initiatives and change programs using project management methodologies.

Collaborate closely with other managers to ensure a coordinated approach.

Deputy Principle Educational Psychologist Key Performance Indicators:

  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Showcase previous leadership or management experience in a multi-agency project or team.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high ethical standards. Requirements:
  • BPS-accredited MSc or Doctorate in Educational Psychology.
  • Eligible for full membership of AEP, BPS, and HCPC registered.
  • Post-qualifying experience at a Senior level.
  • Experience in partnership working and service planning.
  • Ability to assess children and young people, write quality reports, and deliver effective training.
