Title: Deputy Head of Procurement

Location: Torquay / Hybrid / Remote

Salary & Package: £46,648 - £57,528 + benefits

Sea Global are currently working with an exciting public sector organisation who are currently rescoping their department, with a real emphasis being on strategic, commercial procurement going forward.

As a result of this, they have created a brand new role that has been created. They are really looking or a commercially minded senior procurement professional who has experience of working within the public sector.

The role will report directly into the Head of Commercial, who is really looking for someone to hit the ground running for day one! If this role sounds like it could be of interest, please read on for more details.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Head of Procurement in her absence
  • Commercial procurement management, contract, and supplier relationship management solutions
  • End to end procurement processes for contracts, including those that are high value, high risk and complex, to ensure successful delivery
  • Effective stakeholder management, both internal and external

Experience & Requirements

  • It is essential that this candidate has experience within the public sector and is familiar with the regulations
  • Should have experience working within a generalist procurement role
  • Will be comfortable leading end to end procurement
