We have a client that as part of a Finance Transformation Programme are implementing Oracle Fusion as their Global ERP. All finance data will come from that into a newly reengineered data warehouse (data lake or lake house) and the role of the Architect is to design how that happens but also take a lead on the Reporting requirements and how BI is delivered to senior management to then be able to make more informed data driven business decisions.

Essential Skills:

  • Data Architect 90%
  • Data Engineer 10%
  • Stakeholder Management capturing requirements from business and being THE person to feedback on Reporting requirements
  • Leading on Reporting from new Oracle Fusion ERP to new Reengineered Datawarehouse which will become a Data Lake or Lake House
  • Azure and Azure Data tools such as ADF
  • Oversee Data Engineer and Power BI Reports Developer and work broadly across Finance and Technology.
  • Flexible and fluid visits to Bath area so could be 0-3 times per week depending on programme demands

Highly Desirable/Preferred

  • Data Architect for Finance Data
  • Any previous ERP experience as a Data Architect or Data Engineer
  • Experience with Databricks, Spark, etc as they are moving to that.
