JOB TITLE: Cyber Security Graduate

THE JOB

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Deploy updates and fixes for a range of systems in Fibrus

  • Conducting vulnerability assessments on servers and end point devices

  • Configuring security tools including SIEM, anti-virus, firewalls and other security solutions

  • Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes

  • You will be assisting with implementing, assessing and reviewing IT security controls across systems?

  • Monitoring logs and security systems to detect any potential security issues

  • Analysing alerts to determine any impact

  • Working with third party suppliers to reach support resolutions.

  • Resolve technical problems and escalate where appropriate.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

  • You will be a recent graduate in a Computer Science, ITor other relevant discipline.

  • A solid understanding of IT (hardware and software)

  • A solid understanding of IT security principles and approaches - knowledge of the Telecommunications Security Act is ideal however not essential

  • A problem solving approach, taking pride in achieving the best mutual outcome for the end user and Fibrus

  • Relevant work experience, this could be from a placement year, is desirable but not essential

  • Familiarity with a security standard such as ISO27001 would be beneficial
