Being a Customer Service Officer working remotely most of the time for the Saffron Building Society will allow you to be yourself. By assisting people in a positive and patient way, you can ensure they finish a call with you with a smile on their face. The people are the beating heart of the Saffron Building Society, and it takes everyone to provide the service they are rightly proud of.

This is a remote working role working Mon-Fri 9-5pm with requirement to travel to their head office in Saffron Walden once a month.

The day-to-day role:

  • As a Member Representative you will act as first point of contact for customers over multiple channels, delivering a high level of customer service whilst adhering to quality assurance and operational standards.
  • Assisting towards team measures including but not limited to the booking of Financial Wellbeing Reviews and referrals to third party partners.
  • Identifying any potential or actual customer vulnerability throughout interactions
  • Deal with any complaints in a timely and efficient manner

To be successful:

  • You will have excellent customer service ability.
  • Be able to work independently with occasional travel to an office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
