Our client, a key professional membership body, is looking for a bright and enthusiastic customer service professional to join their team on a fixed term contract of up to 12 months.

The role will be to join their Customer Engagement Team as a first point of contact for all enquiries to ensure they are handled promptly and efficiently.

Based from their Central London office on a hybrid basis, this is an excellent opportunity for a customer service professional looking to develop their experience in a fixed term contract.

Duties within this role will include:

  • Taking and handling inbound communication (emails, letters and telephone queries).
  • Processing membership enrolments and renewals.
  • Handling initial complaints from members.
  • Maintaining the database to ensure it is up to date and accurate.
  • General administration to support the team.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience in a relevant office-based environment.
  • A genuine interest in providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Computer literacy, including CRM/database systems.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
