Customer Service Administrator

Location: Hinckley

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

We are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join a growing Manufacturing business in Hinckley.

As the Customer Service Administrator you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, connecting the internal teams and customers to ensure the highest level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing daily support to customers via e-mail and phone, giving aftersales and warranty support to customers
  • Creating/processing sales orders in ERP software and creating and sending order acknowledgements and pro-forma invoices as appropriate.
  • Managing fulfilment of sales orders - obtaining appropriate lead times from Operations and informing the customer. Monitoring all open orders and liaising with Operations to ensure timely delivery. Managing any delays with the customer.
  • Ownership of customer feedback process - Ensuring customer feedback, both negative and positive, is recorded in the CRM software and this log is kept up to date. Escalating customer complaints to the relevant department head as required.
  • Administration of the warranty process - acting as the initial point of contact for Distributor warranty claims. Following warranty claims through from initiation of the customer/distributor complaint to resolution.
  • Acting as initial point of contact for distributor enquiries and providing advice with respect to the company's products and services, liaising with the Account Managers and R&D as required.
  • Despatch/Shipping Support - Assisting the existing Despatch coordinator in completing the required shipping documentation and organisation of shipments in line with customer expectations.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer facing admin role.
  • You will be approachable with the ability to build relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Solid communications skills - written and verbal
  • Computer literate, with good understanding of Microsoft Office (ESP Excel)
  • Familiar with analysing data and information
  • Time management and organisation skills will be essential in this role.
