We need an interim CTO / Technology leader to focus on:

* technology upgrade and implementation and
* Putting in place a fit for purpose, value-add technology function.

We serve public and private healthcare and veterinary providers across the UK, providing equipment through several exclusive OEM relationships, the largest of which is with Samsung.

We have revenues of circa £40M and ambitions to grow materially through new product launches and the addition of new OEM's.

Situation:

We have grown rapidly and have plans to expand further but to do this we need to invest in our IT infrastructure and technology.

The business needs a refresh of the technology stack and building a fit for purpose IT function that enables the growth of the business with ability to leverage the overhead base.

The business operates an entrepreneurial culture led by our MD who you will work closely with to deliver this new modern solution.

Role:

We are looking for an experienced Interim CTO with proven experience in implementing technology solutions across a business and building a scalable technology function.

The successful candidate will be well versed in partnering within a commercial, fast paced and entrepreneurial organisation.

They will need excellent project management and technical capabilities to ensure that the best solutions are developed for the business and managing around the demanding requirements of our clients.

The role will include working closely with the management team and wider business.

Candidate attributes:

* Experienced technology leader with proven ERP/Technology implementation capabilities and strong project management skills
* Candidate should have experience implementing a range of systems to include Microsoft Dynamics as well as field service software experience
* Proven integration capability in the event that multiple different software solutions are chosen
* Assist in the development of the long-term technology strategy.
* building a fit for purpose technology capability
* Strong communication skills and ability to influence people collaboratively
* Able to work with the business to mentor and coach relevant individuals during the role

Responsibilities:

* Take on a leading role in the development and implementation of a new technology solution including project management, budget ownership and following best practices
* Working closely with the executive and other management team members to build a fit for purpose solution.
* manage any current challenges such as ensuring the business is ready for the additional Cyber Security ISO standards and requirements
* Create an overview of the current technology position and develop a plan to drive improvements and implement policies consistent within the requirement of the business and good practise
* Improving systems to improve data retention to capture important and relevant business
* information through which the performance and development of the business can be monitored and tracked.
