THE ROLE
We're in search of a seasoned and meticulous Credit Risk Manager to steer the performance of our credit risk portfolio across all lending operations.
THE ROLE
- Crafting, revising, and maintaining credit policies in accordance with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks.
- Monitoring and evaluating the efficacy of credit policies, advocating for adjustments when necessary.
- Conducting comprehensive analysis of credit portfolios to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Offering actionable insights to optimize the organization's credit risk-return profile.
- Strengthening credit risk frameworks to align with strategic objectives and risk appetites.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to integrate credit risk frameworks into broader risk management strategies.
- Keeping abreast of industry shifts and regulatory updates, adjusting frameworks accordingly.
- Generating and managing detailed MI reports for credit risk, delivering regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Delivering clear and concise presentations to senior management, showcasing findings, recommendations, and insights.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience in first or second-line credit risk management.
- Experience in secured lending is advantageous.
- Essential lending experience: unsecured lending is acceptable.
- Strong analytical abilities.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- £70,000 base salary.
