THE ROLE

We're in search of a seasoned and meticulous Credit Risk Manager to steer the performance of our credit risk portfolio across all lending operations.

THE ROLE

• Crafting, revising, and maintaining credit policies in accordance with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks.
• Monitoring and evaluating the efficacy of credit policies, advocating for adjustments when necessary.
• Conducting comprehensive analysis of credit portfolios to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Offering actionable insights to optimize the organization's credit risk-return profile.
• Strengthening credit risk frameworks to align with strategic objectives and risk appetites.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to integrate credit risk frameworks into broader risk management strategies.
• Keeping abreast of industry shifts and regulatory updates, adjusting frameworks accordingly.
• Generating and managing detailed MI reports for credit risk, delivering regular updates to key stakeholders.
• Delivering clear and concise presentations to senior management, showcasing findings, recommendations, and insights.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Prior experience in first or second-line credit risk management.
• Experience in secured lending is advantageous.
• Essential lending experience: unsecured lending is acceptable.
• Strong analytical abilities.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• £70,000 base salary.
