InterQuest are delighted to be supporting one of their key Financial Services clients in the search for a Credit Risk Analyst to join their team in Bradford (2 days a week in the office).

Role Accountabilities:

  • Conduct detailed statistical analysis to optimize credit decision strategies, processes, and models.
  • Undertake ad-hoc analysis to inform business decisions and investigate specific risk issues.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of analysis.
  • Code, test, and implement approved changes to credit decisioning systems.
  • Produce detailed credit Management Information (MI) and identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop new MI reports to meet business needs.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and resolve issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of credit strategies, procedures, and processes.
  • Support other business areas with Credit Risk expertise and analysis.
  • Deputize for the Lead Credit Risk Analyst/Manager.
  • Commit to fair treatment of customers and compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Demonstrate behaviours in line with company values.
  • Ensure health and safety at work.

Essential experience:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in data analytics.
  • Good knowledge of the credit customer lifecycle.
  • Understanding of Credit Reference Agency data.
  • Competent in data manipulation and analytical techniques.
  • Ability to derive and communicate insights from data.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, Intermediate Excel.
  • Intermediate SAS/SQL capability.
