Credit controller - Hybrid 2 days in the office 3 working from home.

Pertemps have a new and exciting opportunity to join our very successful client based in Burton Upon Trent on a full time permanent basis as a Credit controller.

Working on a shift rotation of weeks 1-3 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday - Thursday then Friday 8.30 - 4.00pm then week 4 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday then Friday 8.00am - 3.00pm.

In return a salary of £25,000 - £27,000 depending on experience.

The Credit Controller is pivotal is maximising the organisation’s cash collection and keeping aged debt to a minimum.

What you’ll do:
  • Proactively collect debts to maximise cash collection and conduct weekly collections forecasting.
  • Manage the sales ledger accounts and credit limits and record all communications using a bespoke collections system.
  • Raise credit notes and release orders in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal teams and answer queries on accounts.

What you’ll bring:
  • Demonstrable experience working within credit collections or accounts receivable.
  • Experience using SAP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Proactive self-starter who can work well within a team.
  • Professional experience working within a global organisation is preferred.
  • CICM Qualified or working towards a qualification preferred but not required.
