A super friendly & creative Secondary School based in Tower Hamlets are looking to recruit a confident and creative Aspiring Creative Teaching Assistant to support students across KS3-5.

We're specifically looking for candidates with an Arts, Drama & Musical background, who have some previous experience working with children as well as the ability to engage students using creative and artistic methods.

Additionally, if you are an?Aspiring Creative Teaching Assistant?the school can offer Salaried Teacher Training commencing September 2024.

What will this Aspiring Creative Teaching Assistant position involve?

• Supporting trainees (those with SEND and/or those identified as requiring additional support)
• Running 1:1 and small group support sessions
• Run small group sessions with higher achieving trainees
• Support trainees to develop in confidence and competence
• Support Trainees to revise for and prepare for examinations.
• Participate in the planning of learning support materials, scaffolds and resources.
• To liaise with the SENDCo, teaching staff, Heads of Department and the Pastoral Team

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Secondary Teaching Assistant
• Working with students across KS3 and KS5 (Year7 - Year 13)
• May involve supporting students with mild SEN (ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, Speech & Language issues)
• Small group and 1:1 work
• £105 - £120 per day!
• Full-time (term-time only) - long-term - ASAP Start

• Based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets??

• Creative and capable of coming up with innovative & fun ideas and activities!
