Maths Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic Maths teacher to work in a secondary school located in Islington on a temporary to permanent basis starting ASAP.

The school is an Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school that is looking for a maths teacher for key state 3 and 4.

Math teacher contract / Position details:

  • Location: Islington, Inner London
  • Type of work: Math class teaching, marking, assessment where applicable
  • Math teaching job start date: September 2024
  • Contract type: Temporary to Permanent post
  • Minimum rate of pay: 177-262 a day
  • Hours: 8 am- (term time only)

Science Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher of Maths
  • You will need to have taught in Secondary Schools either in a permanent or supply basis
  • NQT'S welcome to apply
  • Overseas trained Math teachers welcome to apply
  • You will be required to commit to a full-time Math teaching timetable
  • Joining a well-resourced Math dept where team teaching and support is given
  • Hold strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage with students and build rapport

To be eligible for this Maths teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
