Counter Child Trafficking Project worker - Charity with Outstanding reputation

Salary : £27,300 - £36,029 plus £312 per annum Office at Home Allowance

Contract type : Permanent (Fixed term funded post) until March 2025

This role is subject to funding and the contract could be extended beyond March 2025.

NonStop Social Care is looking for a Counter Child Trafficking Project worker for an Outstanding Charity. Would you like to make a difference for children affected by modern slavery? Fantastic chance to work with and help children and young people navigate through social care, immigration, criminal justice, National Referral Mechanism.

Responsibilities

The Counter Child Trafficking Project worker will work remotely, which means you will enjoy flexibility. The role will involve travelling as well to visit children and young people face to face and deliver therapeutic interventions. The aim of the role is to improve outcomes for those affected by modern slavery through trauma-informed practice, helping them navigate through social care, immigration, criminal justice systems.

You will be responsible of managing a substantial caseload of young people.

Requirements

Please apply if:

- you have experience and working knowledge with children and young people that suffered from exploitation and trafficking

- you have working knowledge of immigration, criminal justice system, National Referral Mechanism

- you reside in one of the following regions or within 40 miles radius:Greater London,West and North Yorkshire, Greater, Manchester ,Merseyside ,West Midlands [inc Bristol and Gloucestershire] ,East Midlands ,South East and Isle of White ,Wales

- you drive and have unrestricted access to your own car
