Join an established Personal Injury (PI) practice in South Manchester as a Costs Draftsperson. The firm are seeking a skilled professional to support senior case handlers with drafting requirements, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.

As a Costs Draftsperson, you will collaborate with senior case handlers in drafting tasks and provide crucial assistance. The role encompasses a diverse range of drafting needs, including budget work. The firm are looking for an individual with 2 to 5 years of experience in costs drafting, ideally within an in-house setting or for an external costs drafting services provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior case handlers, offering drafting support for bills and supplementary documents.
  • Utilise your experience to handle budget drafting requirements for a variety of cases.
  • Prepare bills and supplementary documents for Detailed Assessment, covering both fast track and multi-track cases.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to adapt to changes in schedules and priorities.
  • Clear communication with team members at all levels.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in using Proclaim Case Management System.
  • Familiarity with Costs Master software.
  • Previous experience of working in-house would be advantageous.
