Job Title: Remote Costs Draftsman (Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury)

Location: Fully Remote

About the Role: A leading costs firm specializing in clinical negligence and personal injury claims iscurrently seeking a skilled Costs Draftsman to join their team on a fully remote basis. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while handling a caseload of clinical negligence and personal injury claims, focusing on drafting bills of costs and utilizing CostMaster software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clinical negligence and personal injury claims.
  • Draft bills of costs and other relevant legal documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize CostMaster software to facilitate cost drafting processes.
  • Liaise with solicitors, clients, and other stakeholders as necessary to gather information and resolve queries.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain organized records of cost drafting activities and communicate progress effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Costs Draftsman, with specific experience in clinical negligence and personal injury claims.
  • Proficiency in drafting bills of costs and other legal documents.
  • Experience using CostMaster software for cost drafting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a fully remote environment.
