What you'll do:
As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing system development and process controls for costing. You will be responsible for overseeing inventory movement, conducting cost variance analysis, and maintaining the product cost model. Your role will involve close collaboration with various departments including Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering. You will also be instrumental in facilitating periodic updates of the bill of materials and standard cost rate. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of inventory records during physical counts and liaise with auditors during year-end closing. Your commitment to supporting process improvement, cost reduction initiatives, and setting KPIs will contribute significantly to our client's success.

* Manage Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and inventory movement
* Perform cost variance analysis to identify areas for improvement
* Maintain and improve the product cost model to reflect actual production activities
* Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to update bill of materials and standard cost rate
* Ensure inventory accuracy and validity of inventory records during physical inventory counts
* Provide support related to process improvement, cost reduction initiatives, and setting KPIs
