This Top 15 firm are looking for a Corporate Tax Manager to join their expanding Colchester based office, where there is genuine excitement about the progression on offer and the growth of the team in Colchester.

You'd be joining a team known for their reliability, being approachable and proactivity for all, ensuring all needs are met, by working alongside clients to reach the best outcome.

As a Corporate Tax Manager you will:

  • Developing and managing the tax relationship of the clients within your portfolio, which will include family businesses, owner managed businesses, larger or more complex UK and international groups.
  • Manage and oversee the corporate tax compliance cycle on your client portfolio.
  • Lead work and be actively involved in the provision of advisory projects to clients.
  • Take primary responsibility for financial performance on your client and project work.
  • Bill responsibility for all tax work on client portfolio.
  • Consider and manage risk in all interactions with clients.
  • Demonstrate personal commitment to your work and team success; show positive attitude and enthusiasm for work and take initiative to make improvements when appropriate.
  • Provide and be receptive to regular and constructive feedback that improves self and others.
  • Coach members of the team through sharing experience and knowledge.
  • Provide on-the-job training for developing colleagues.


As a Corporate Tax Manager you will need:

  • ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification.
  • Significant corporate tax and accounting experience on a range of compliance and advisory projects.
  • A passion for client service.
  • A track record of developing new work.
  • Display an energy and enthusiasm and a focus on achieving results.
