An expanding, successful, financial services organisation, is looking to recruit a Corporate Credit Manager to join their Credit and Operations team, responsible for managing credit risk on new and existing customers with large exposures. This opportunity will suit someone very familiar with financial statements analysis.

The organisation offer opportunity for hybrid working, 2 days a week from home.

Key responsibilities

  • Conducting credit reviews on new and existing customers
  • Spreading customer accounts and obtaining credit grades
  • Preparing written credit reviews for submission to credit approvers such as the Senior Credit Manager, Credit Director or Credit Committees,
  • Reviewing credit application documents prepared by other credit managers and granting approvals within agreed mandates, or declining / requesting further information, as required,
  • Setting up and maintaining customers in the Company's proprietary systems
  • Preparation of monthly reports and once off reports as required.

Experience/skills

  • Able to interpret financial statements, write credit reviews, and make recommendations about credit limits and security
  • Experience in a corporate credit evaluation role, with a personal mandate to approve credit limits
  • Experience in a unit stocking environment would be an advantage.
  • MS Office literate, ability to work with proprietary applications
  • Car finance experience would be advantageous
